Ed and Gail’s Tuesday Night Dance for Everyone
features our diverse music mix suitable for a wide
variety of dance styles, including Waltz, Foxtrot,
Cha-Cha, Rumba, West Coast Swing, East Coast
Swing, Two-Step, Nightclub, Hustle, Tango, and
more! The West Coast Swing lesson will review
basics for the first 15 minutes, then progress to an
advanced move, with easy-to-understand
explanations of what makes it work. Then we put it
all together and practice to music.
DJ Ed Cottrell
For the past 10+ years, Ed has been the resident DJ at Colvin Run’s
Tuesday dance events. He also DJs Ed and Gail’s 2nd Saturday, 3rd
Sunday, and 4th Saturday dances. Ed owns an extensive and
diverse music collection, both contemporary and classic, for all
genres of dance. His engaging style allows him to assess the mood
of each dance, and facilitates an audience interactive process to
ensure that the dancers in attendance are happy!
